In Guatemala there is a region called «The dry corridor», because it is affected by an extremely dry climate. That is why the families living there do not have access to sanitation and hygiene. This is how the project «Sembrando Juntos Chiquimula» (Sowing Together Chiquimula) came about, which meets these needs by providing a «hygiene combo» consisting of a toilet, a shower and a sink.
A team from the Church will make a short-term mission trip to the dry corridor, which will install the «hygiene combo», and distribute bags of food. They will distribute bags of food in the community. They will share the message of salvation, which is our primary objective.
